hellllllo SNOW!
We have had some beautiful snow days. It dumped snow Sunday, Monday, (today) and is supposed to dump more tonight! At one point the news said we could get 9-12 inches tomorrow! I don't know what it currently says since it is always changing lol. Jaymeson has been loving the snow. He was so mesmerized earlier when we were outside. Here are some of our snow pictures : )

Growing and growing
Holy moly, is it the middle of January already? Next week jaymeson will be 5 months old. That just blows me away. He is growing so fast it's hard to keep up. He now has two little teeth, the front bottom ones. They are coming in so fast! He can sit up all by himself (it doesn't last to terribly long before he starts to tip over lol). But when he does tip over he rolls on to his tummy and pulls his arms out in front of him and starts moving like crazy, in efforts to crawl. I really truly never had a little newborn lol, he is just growing so incredibly fast.

New years resolutions..
New years resolutions:
For myself ...
Hot yoga
Dailey stroller/dog walks
Join a yoga class in Stanwood
Join mops group
In general our goal is to really move our lives to Stanwood. We want to make new friends, find parents with babies, and join activities in the Stanwood area. We spend so much time driving to Lynnwood still because our lives are still focused around there. Of course we won't forget about our family and friends but in all honesty, we are 35 min from Lynnwood, and it's getting really old that people don't come visit us. We have a baby to travel with and we are the ones constantly going to everyone else. It's time people come to us, or they are gonna see less of us. (we appreciate those who make the effort).
I also would like to lose more weight. I have lost all my pregnancy weight but there is much more that can be lost. I already cook 100 times more than I did last year so that should help but I just got to keep it up and drink lots of water and keep taking peanut and the dogs for walks.

2011 all "wrapped" up
December was a very busy month...
Jaymeson had his 4 month appointment. The doctor was very impressed with his strength and abilities. He measured above the 95 percentile for weight, weighing 20lbs 15oz. His height was at the 95 percentile, 26 1/2 inches. Everything on the list of "things you can expect in the next 2 months" Jaymeson can already do!! Sits supported, holds objects and transfers them from one hand to the other, holds head up while laying on his stomach, and rolls from back to tummy.
Christmas was very eventful...
Christmas eve is Lily's birthday so we started the morning off with her birthday celebration. Then it turned into Christmas. Then we went to Magnolia to Justin's aunt and uncles house. There were over 20 people there. Jaymeson had a great time meeting all his family on the Bruce side. Then we ended the night at grandma and grandpas where Jaymeson got some awesome toys from gma & gpa and adorable husky apparel from uncle Ryan. Justin and I were also spoiled by them :-)
Christmas day...
Grammy came over bright and early to help me make stuffing and get the turkey in the oven. It was our very first time hosting Christmas dinner so I definitely needed the help from my mom. We made turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, Green bean casserole, cranberries, pumpkin pie, and a gingerbread cake! Everything was delicious!! Our Christmas attendance was me, Justin, Jaymeson, mom, dad, michala, Johnny, Shelley, megan, Connor and Ryan :-)
Boxing day... Or in our house, my birthday! The big 25...
GOT AN IPAD!!!!! Hubby spoiled me :-)
Then we went shopping. We had lunch with Megan and Jacob and jaymesons little buddy annelise (who is 5 weeks older). Then we went to my moms for a taco dinner. All in all, a great birthday. 25 is starting out pretty good so far...

No one said it would be easy... but it sure is fun!
Goodbye November! Hello December : )
Last week was simply amazing! We had such a great time having an early Thanksgiving with Justin's family. And then we took off Tuesday night, on the train, to Whitefish MT. It was really fun. Jaymeson slept most of the way and did a really good job! We had a great time in MT. We got to see alot of family. When we first arrived we had breakfast with Dick and Jane Solberg (Jane is my Grandpas cousin). And then we went to Flathead with Uncle Rich. And later that night Jeane, Tim, Henry, Grace and Seely all arrived. We had such a great time with them. Thanksgiving was PERFECT and Jaymeson even got to try mashed potatoes and sweet potatoes for the first time! yummmm.. Now we are home and back to the grind. Jaymeson has been pretty needy this week because he got spoiled with being held, or rocked the whole time we were gone. Stroller rides have been fun this week. He is really enjoying himself!
As for me... I am getting rest, for the most part. Night time has been going really good. He still doesn't sleep for more than 4 hours in a row, but at least he eats, and goes back to bed. I hit a wall with my weight loss, which is really discouraging with the holidays around. I lost all my pregnancy weight in the first two months after Jay was born. But now I have found myself extremely hungry and gaining back a few pounds. I am going to keep walking the dogs/strolling Jaymeson and hopefully we can work up to a jog : ) Thats the plan ...
It would be AWESOME to get some visitors : ) No one ever comes and visits and the sad part is that Jaymeson is getting big fast and everyone is missing out. Oh well.. You lose half your friends when you get married and the other half when you have a baby. I have sent out some inquiries about some Mom groups so hopefully we make some new friends soon!
I can't wait for Christmas!

Hello November!
Time has sure flown by quickly. Jaymeson is growing and learning so much! It has been such an exciting end of October, beginning of November. We have been so busy. We went to the pumpkin patch again, and found a big enough pumpkin to put Jaymeson in : )
We also had many playdates with the beautiful Annelise and Ainsley, including our own little halloween party. We also made a trip to the doctor for Jaymeson's 2 month check up. On October 24th he weighed in at 16lbs 11oz. which is HUGE! It is above 95% percentile. His length was 24in, which is right at the 95% percentile and then his head measured at the 90% percentile. He was all laughs and giggles the entire time we were at the doctor, she was so impressed!
Also, starting the end of October Jaymeson has just been happy as can be and laughing and giggling and kicking like crazy! He is also rolling over very well! I was even able to get him on video for his first ever, 100% on his own, roll over! It was extremely exciting.
We also went to get his pictures taken at the Picture People. Very excited : )

October .. Baby Jay's 2nd month of life : )
Well it has been a busy but great month so far!
We started off this month with a trip to the pumpkin patch. There was a huge turn out. We invited our family and friends to come with us and then come over to our house for pizza afterwards. It was a really good time. We ended up with amazing weather and everyone had a blast.
We had to say good bye to the wonderful Cascade Midwives and Birthing Center because we had our last appointment with them : ( That was really sad for us because it was such an amazing experience going through them to bring Jaymeson into the world. They feel like family to me and now we are all done. Very sad for me.
We have been busy visiting people and Jaymeson meeting family and friends for the first time. Jaymeson also had his first 5 hours away from me. I went back to work last Saturday and Auntie KK and Grammy watched him while Justin worked overtime. It was nice to go back to work and realize how "good" I am at my job. (not in a cocky way, just in the way that I know exactly what I am doing.)
It has also been an amazing month because Jaymeson's personality has really blossomed. He was very "needy" and cried alot the first couple weeks (which we found out was due to stomach irratation with foods I was eating). He now will wake up and just smile and laugh and it is so magical to see. He has also become more independent and will lay under his jungle play mat and laugh and kick for 20-30 min. I used to not even be able to put him down without him crying but now he will lay there and laugh at who knows what! lol. It has been a really fun transition.
