A busy week ahead...

Whawhoo! The holidays are here!
This Sunday we will be celebrating Thanksgiving with Justins family. And then Tuesday night we jump on the train to Whitefish MT, and then drive to Flathead lake. I can not wait to see my family and for them to meet Jaymeson.

Hello November!
Time has sure flown by quickly. Jaymeson is growing and learning so much! It has been such an exciting end of October, beginning of November. We have been so busy. We went to the pumpkin patch again, and found a big enough pumpkin to put Jaymeson in : )
We also had many playdates with the beautiful Annelise and Ainsley, including our own little halloween party. We also made a trip to the doctor for Jaymeson's 2 month check up. On October 24th he weighed in at 16lbs 11oz. which is HUGE! It is above 95% percentile. His length was 24in, which is right at the 95% percentile and then his head measured at the 90% percentile. He was all laughs and giggles the entire time we were at the doctor, she was so impressed!
Also, starting the end of October Jaymeson has just been happy as can be and laughing and giggling and kicking like crazy! He is also rolling over very well! I was even able to get him on video for his first ever, 100% on his own, roll over! It was extremely exciting.
We also went to get his pictures taken at the Picture People. Very excited : )

October .. Baby Jay's 2nd month of life : )

Well it has been a busy but great month so far!
We started off this month with a trip to the pumpkin patch. There was a huge turn out. We invited our family and friends to come with us and then come over to our house for pizza afterwards. It was a really good time. We ended up with amazing weather and everyone had a blast.
We had to say good bye to the wonderful Cascade Midwives and Birthing Center because we had our last appointment with them  : ( That was really sad for us because it was such an amazing experience going through them to bring Jaymeson into the world. They feel like family to me and now we are all done. Very sad for me.
We have been busy visiting people and Jaymeson meeting family and friends for the first time. Jaymeson also had his first 5 hours away from me. I went back to work last Saturday and Auntie KK and Grammy watched him while Justin worked overtime. It was nice to go back to work and realize how "good" I am at my job. (not in a cocky way, just in the way that I know exactly what I am doing.)
It has also been an amazing month because Jaymeson's personality has really blossomed. He was very "needy" and cried alot the first couple weeks (which we found out was due to stomach irratation with foods I was eating). He now will wake up and just smile and laugh and it is so magical to see. He has also become more independent and will lay under his jungle play mat and laugh and kick for 20-30 min. I used to not even be able to put him down without him crying but now he will lay there and laugh at who knows what! lol. It has been a really fun transition.

here are some pictures to go with our adventures...

Motherhood.. one month= success : )

It's hard to believe that Jaymeson is already one month old. How time sure does fly. I feel like it was just yesterday that we found out we were going to have a baby. So much has changed in the last month. In the first few weeks Jaymeson was here, I felt so overwhelmed. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, and to top it off, he is high maintanance!
Things have gotten much easier. We leave the house almost every day and he does fantastic in the car and has had many successful outings. He has also become much "happier" because his tummy problems seemed to have gotten much better. He was having horrible gas and would wake up screaming. I am now on a strict diet of NO SPICES.. at all! It might not seem too hard but onion powder and garlic salt are in EVERYTHING. I have had to get very creative with all my cooking. (Today I am going to make a lemon chicken & carrot dish in the crockpot. It looks delicious!) I also cut out dairy and then when I tried to re-introduce it, he had a very horrible next day. So looks like diary is going to have to stay away as well.

Anyways.. Here are some photos of our last week and the many adventures : )

Our little lovey bear is 21 days old

I can not believe I have been a mother for 21 days now. Time sure goes by fast. As of midnight Jaymeson is already three weeks old.

Last Wednesday he had his first doctor appointment. He had gained 11ounces and grown a 1/2 inch. He was a very brave boy and did a great job.

He is such a big boy! He already looks so different. He can hold his head up and push up. He can also push off his legs against mine and head butt me haha. What a strong boy. The picture below is from his very first bath : )
